My therapy practice is dedicated to helping other helping professionals carve out the time and space to prioritize their mental health. Healthcare workers, firefighters, law enforcement, mental health providers, educators, and many others give tirelessly to those they serve—often at the expense of their own well-being. We hone the skill of taking care of others, but struggle to take care of ourselves.

With experience in community and inpatient mental health, higher education, and bedside nursing, I’ve seen firsthand how our systems lack a truly holistic approach to care. My time at the bedside made this especially clear, leading me to further my education to better serve both my patients and my community. Today, I continue working part-time as a registered nurse and teaching the next generation of nurses.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, playing music, and getting lost in a good book. I also foster animals with the help of my crew—three dogs (Pippa, Bentley, and Jax) and my cat, Anakin
